George KALBACH, b. 1860
George Kalbach was born in Oskaloosa, June,
186o, and is a brother of John A. Kalbach,
a sketch of whom appears elsewhere in this
work, and is associated with him in the lumber
business. His entire life has been passed in
this city, and he is a graduate of the Oskaloosa
high school, of the class of 1880. Throughout
his business career he has been connected with
the lumber trade in Oskaloosa. In 1890 he
purchased the interest of his father, Isaac Kalbach,
and has since then been connected with
the Kalbach lumber firm.
